Uganda is home to some of the world's most renowned coffee-growing regions. From the misty highlands of Mount Rwenzori to the fertile slopes of Mount Elgon and the lush Bugisu region, Uganda produces both exceptional Arabica and world-class Robusta. The country's equatorial climate, volcanic soils, and altitude create ideal conditions for growing coffee of remarkable quality and complexity.
Kabalega Coffee Establishment works exclusively with Uganda's coffee communities, smallholder farmers, cooperatives, and established estates. We know our suppliers personally, understand their farming practices, and maintain long-term partnerships that reward quality and support sustainable livelihoods.

Kabalega Coffee Establishment maintains a permanent team in Uganda working year-round with farming communities, processing facilities, and logistics partners. This on-the-ground presence ensures we maintain complete quality control, understand local conditions, and build the trust-based relationships essential for sourcing the finest coffee.
We locate farms, cooperatives, and wet mills in Uganda's key coffee zones with the right varieties, certifications, and quality standards for our buyers.
Coffee samples are professionally cupped and evaluated for aroma, flavor profile, body, acidity, and defects. We match lots to buyer specifications and quality requirements.
Coffee is processed using washed or natural methods, then milled and sorted at certified facilities. Grading by screen size, defect count, and quality is performed according to international standards.
Independent lab analysis confirms moisture content, defect levels, and coffee safety. Samples are re-cupped to verify consistency and quality standards.
All required export documentation is prepared: phytosanitary certificates, certificate of origin, fumigation reports, weight notes, and full traceability documentation.
Coffee is carefully packed in premium packaging and shipped via sea or air freight. We provide tracking and support through customs clearance until final delivery.
We negotiate fair prices that support the economic livelihood of farming communities and ensure long-term partnerships.
Every product can be traced back to its source farm or cooperative giving buyers full confidence in their supply chain.
We encourage and support sustainable farming practices that protect the environment and improve yields for future harvests.
